I met Emma and Ian at Delapre Abbey in Northampton for their pre-wedding shoot. We kept a close eye on the weather in the run up to the day as snow had threatened. We had a dusting of snow for the session and it was incredibly cold, however, Emma and Ian were great fun and the temperature didn’t deter us from creating some lovely images! [...] I had been looking forward to Emma & Ian’s wedding ever since I found out about the plans for their wedding at Blenheim Palace. It was obvious from the first time I met Emma that her attention to detail and her organisational skills meant that this would be an incredible day! She had given so much thought to everything (not just the incredible venues!), but her hair stylist, make up artist, florist and dress maker were all very obviously carefully considered. The weather on the wedding day in late March was a welcome surprise too, with a cloudless sky, balmy temperature and low Spring sunshine! A complete contrast to the weather for their pre-wedding shoot in November (link here). [...]
